Coffee shops in Chicago?
Also, a special note: I traveled all over Chicago and was greeted by a Starbucks on every corner but did not see a single independent coffee shop. So, my question is: do they even exist in Chicago? I will have to ask my Chicago sources...

chicago has some of the best coffee in the country, if not the world: get thee, and quickly, to intelligentsia coffee, or to metropolis coffee. both have websites to show the locations. they're real, they roast and source their own, and they have professional baristi. you may switch to cortados after intelly...
