My dentist tells me Brokeback Mountain will win every possible award at the Oscars. He claims it is a political movie deliberately designed to go after the last American icon of male masculinity - the cowboy. After listening to his ramblings for quite some time (all the while waiting for my teeth to get attention) I was tempted to pat him on the back and suggest him renting a John Wayne movie. For comfort. Perhaps something like this would cheer him up.
